What I’m Reading [26]

Guys! #24in48 was so awesome. This was the first time I’ve ever participated and I actually did it. I read for 24 hours. I can hardly believe it. This has been so perfect for getting me back into the groove of long reading sessions. I read two comics, two books, finished an audiobook I was already listening to, and started two new audiobooks. I have to admit it was tiring. I sat up reading last night a little later than I normally would. I woke up at 6:00 with the cat, which was particularly difficult the second day. I even finished early! There were two and half hours left in the readathon when I finished. I have to be honest, I took those two and a half hours to NOT READ. I enjoyed it, but I was pretty done for the day. I can’t wait to do this again! I know I can read for 24 hours now, so I don’t think I’ll try so aggressively next time. I’ll just set aside the time to read and track my time. I think I’ll be good with leaving it at that.

New Books

The Night Season | Naked

I just had to read Naked after being so disappointed with Tempted. I needed to remember why I wanted to read the other book in the first place. So, I bought it on my Kindle app. I finished the third Archie & Gretchen book, so I moved on to the fourth from the library.

What I Read

Tempted | Groot | Evil at Heart | The Selection
I Hate Fairyland | The Elite

Most of this is thanks to the #24in48 readathon. I don’t think I’ve finished this many book in one week in over a year.

What I’m Reading

Naked | City of Ashes | The Night Season | Ready Player One

Moving on to a new romance, new print book, and two new audiobooks this week.

What’s Next

Motor Crush | Descender 1 | Descender 2 | Descender 3

I didn’t read many comics during the readathon because I was so wrapped up in finishing my audiobook and reading The Selection series. I think I’ll try to make up for that a bit this week, especially since I just started all my books. Comics will be a good way to switch it up for a couple of weeks and get my Goodreads challenge numbers up. I’m 16 books behind since I normally read comics and I haven’t been reading them much this year.

On the Blog

Last Week

This Week

I don’t have a plan this week since I spent last week up to my eyeballs in school and house work and last weekend reading. Maybe I’ll post something. We’ll see.

What I’m Reading is a post I put together that’s all about motivating me to keep reading and updating my blog. I love doing both, but I sometimes let life get in the way. I just needed a little weekly reminder to do things for myself, like reading and blogging. It’s inspired by It’s Monday! What are You Reading? is hosted by Book Date and Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tyga’s Reviews so I sometimes link up on those posts to start conversation with other bloggers.
